HARVEST OF THE MONTH
Harvest of the Month (HOTM) is a national farm-to-school program designed to raise awareness of the benefits of eating local fruits and vegetables. HOTM provides materials for students, families, and the community to engage in hands-on opportunities to explore, taste, and learn about the importance of eating local produce every day.
In the summer of 2021, I was tasked with revamping the Pennsylvania (and Florida) HOTM program with corporate branding as lead designer, with guidance from the Marketing Director. I created a HOTM logo and brand, program outline, newsletter materials, posters, labels, a serving line marker, and digital materials for families to learn about HOTM at home as students enjoyed monthly theme meals highlighting each month’s harvest of choice.
This Harvest of the Month program is currently used by approximately 30 schools located in Philadelphia, Allentown, and Pittsburgh, PA and throughout Florida.
